Moving day is finally here. You have all your small items packed and ready to go. You’ve got your large appliances emptied and prepped for their long journey. But what if moving day comes but your new home or apartment is not ready yet? Or maybe you’re relocating to a new town but still looking for the perfect place to live. In such situations, it can feel stressful and overwhelming to know what to do with your stuff. Fortunately, if you’ve chosen Lynns for your removalist, we’re something of a one-stop shop. We don’t just offer comprehensive, professional home and office relocations, we also offer storage. If and when you need it, your belongings large and small can be housed securely in our private storage facility. Before you make a decision, let’s debunk some of the most prevalent myths about storage and set the record straight.

Storage units are dirty

When you picture a storage facility, you might envision a cavernous warehouse, dark and dingy. This may be the case at some poorly maintained facilities, but not at Lynns. Our storage centre is regularly and meticulously maintained to remove excess dust and debris. We also have proper ventilation that allows for a healthy flow of air in the building. We provide covers for special items as well, ensuring a barrier of additional protection.

Storage is incredibly expensive

Storage does not have to cost an exorbitant monthly fee. We have reasonable rates at Lynns (call us to discuss in further detail). While secure storage is not free, when you need it, the option to temporarily hold your items in one location is much cheaper than moving them repeatedly. And with Lynns’ storage, we promptly and efficiently deliver your stored items to their destination when you’re ready for them. This convenience can’t be beat.

My stuff will get lost in the storage centre

This is a common myth, and while this unfortunately may occur at other storage facilities, you don’t have to worry about that with us. When items are brought into storage, our team records them carefully and accurately in our inventory. The information kept is very detailed and includes the item’s location in the storage centre. When it’s time to return your belongings to you or bring them to their destination, we refer to our organised inventory. This ensures all items are continuously accounted for. The organisation within the facility itself is also highly-managed, ensuring well-defined space and easy accessibility.

Storage facilities are not secure and are prone to break-ins

Lynn's employs 24/7 video surveillance, back-to-base security alarms, and nightly patrols to keep your stuff safe. This provides our customers with the ultimate peace of mind. We know how important your belongings are to you, so we take our security seriously. With these measures in place, you don’t have to worry about potential risks. We’ve got you covered. If you’d like more information on Lynn's comprehensive and convenient storage options, get in touch with us today. We’d love to show you how storage can make your move or home-building process simpler.
