Lynns Removals and Storage has been in business for 25 years and is the longest established removal company in our area and surrounding areas. We are a family business and pride ourselves on our quality of customer service and expertise of providing a complete moving package for our customers.
As one of the four most traumatic experiences in life, next to death in the family, divorce and losing a job, moving house is more than caring for someone’s furniture. The expertise of our removal company reflects in the way we relate to our customer, and the service we provide. We aim to take away any anxieties or concerns that the customer may have, not only with the transportation of their furniture, but also other issues in relation to moving house.
We offer a complete removal package including packing and unpacking of cartons, disassemble and reassemble of furniture if needed, and arrange for transportation of animals or vehicles. We can store furniture at our premises in Ulladulla for long or short term. As we are registered insurance representatives of Aldridge and Street Insurance, we have the ability to inform and arrange any insurance that our customer may have.
When first contacted by our customers, we enquire as to their needs and arrange an appointment for our experienced staff to visit them and assess their removal. This personalises our relationship with our customers and gives us a good pre-removal survey of the goods to be moved. It also assists us in our pricing and customer service, as we know their situation, and can deliver the needs and service required by this customer.
We are members of AFRA. Our staff are trained in furniture removals and have accredited furniture removal certificates. During the past three years our company commenced traineeships for all permanent staff members. Employees with accredited furniture removal certificates are highly sought after within the removal industry. Our office staff are also authorised representatives of Aldridge & Street Insurance, which allows us to advise and sell insurance to our customers.
We have an extensive OH&S policy, which is included in our Employment and Safety Handbook, which is handed to each employee upon commencement of employment. This must be signed by the employee and returned to us.
In 2000 we moved into new premises that has allowed us to accommodate more storage and we have increased our fleet of trucks. This has enabled us to services our customers and the entire NSW South Coast better.
Our promotions and advertising sets us apart and is unique to the South Coast. We have created this interactive website which corresponds with our television advertisement. Our aim is to portray moving house as an easy and hassle free experience, when moving with Lynns Removals. Our advertising mascot is a singing dancing truck with furniture that is happy to be moving with Lynns. Our gold fish dials the phone and arranges the move and the furniture celebrates when our truck turns up. By advertising in this way we are promoting a relaxing trouble free removal.
Our website takes our business to a new level. Customers can receive quotes, ask questions via email, and find out about moving and storage, and other tips and useful information. This educates the customer, who then feels more in control of the situation.
We have a complete computerised system, which allows us to keep track of the progress of each customers needs. We provide contracts for our removals, insurance and storage, this allows our customers to know their rights and expectations.
Our fleet of trucks are new or near new, and are well presented. Our staff wear uniforms provided and are required to be neat and tidy. All of our staff are professional, courteous, polite and helpful to our customers. We have received many referrals and letters of gratitude from our customers.
In 2003 we were named Business of the Year, within our local district. We have a well-known reputation on the South Coast as a business of high esteem, we participate in local events and sponsor many local charities and sporting clubs as well as youth programs. We believe in giving back to the community in which we live.
